A breathtaking, modern garden micro-wedding at Midcentury Manor that obsessed over all the little details
The planning began for this bride and groom last year in the spring. These two were looking for someone who specialized in design and intimate weddings, aka P3 Events! We started out with the basics, like the color palette and overall vibe of the wedding. The bride wanted a garden wedding that was earthy with some modern elegance and modern colors with pastels. See the results:
For Natasha and Kristian’s day, we made sure their garden wedding would reflect both their personalities. A fun fact about the couple is they love traveling for food and classic drinks. Therefore, we handpicked caterers (food, desserts, etc.) that satisfied both of these foodies, since they also both love to cook and bake.
The day began at Mandalay Bay with some hair and makeup for the bride and MOB. We think the makeup and hair artists from Set & Fury did a beautiful job capturing the elegant look Natasha wanted. Even their beloved dog, Vinny, got to enjoy the slow morning of getting ready.
While they were getting pampered, all of the vendors were arriving to the main venue, Midcentury Manor. Including the chairs, linens, and tables from RSVP Rentals + treats and desserts for set-up. Also, the florist, Bloomingbelle’s, arrived around noon to arrange gorgeous rosy pink and white flowers.
P3 Events also arrived to oversee the vendor set-up and greet the bride & groom as they arrived to the venue with their family. Of course, we made sure neither the bride or groom saw each other before their first look. Their photographer, Samantha Jacob Photography, captured all of these beautiful images and while we will keep the first look photos private for the couple, enjoy these incredible glamour shots they took in the venue’s uniquely styled rooms.
Then, after they got their glamour shots and guests arrived for the garden wedding, we got everyone got lined up for processional. The guys were in deep navy blue hues and the gals in rosy pink. Even the dog, Vinny, got to be a part of this special moment. And you could tell he was SO excited to be the star of the show!
Anyways, the ceremony itself was meaningful and genuine with their small gathering of under 60 guests. And officiated by Peachy Keens Unions. And as the two exchanged rings, they became officially Mr. and Mrs!
When the ceremony concluded, guests were ushered inside for cocktails and the family took their formal photos in front of the altar. Beverages were provided by the venue itself, and they were fabulous. After a short while, guests made their way to their elegant table arrangements and watched the energetic grand entrance to “We Will Rock You” by Queen.
When traditional dances concluded, the couple did an early cake cutting with their pretty cake by TSP Baking Company and had separate mini cheesecake bites & Pot de Crémes for their guests made by the bride’s very own company Luscious Batter. Then, after a few speeches, everyone was served delicious food at the buffet by the catering company, Fuku Burger. They got plenty of time to interact with their family and friends who attended and truly just enjoyed a night of fun.
Overall, we think the couple had a blast at their modern garden wedding. They had smiles on their faces the entire day and we were just happy to make their day as special as they are. Lastly, I want to say a huge thank you to all of the vendors who contributed to this beautiful wedding day. Want a gorgeous micro-wedding? Check out our customized package!
