Stunning images of modern boho wedding by Samantha Jacobs Photography
The beautiful Rosemarie and Matthew said their “I do’s” on April 22nd at A Simple Affair. And but of course —in a decidedly modern-boho fashion. And wow, do they look stunning!
For their wedding day, these two lovebirds wanted the focus to be love and family. Nothing big and showy, but still beautiful and intimate. Together, the couple and P3 Events created a vibe with ample romantic lighting, but still kid friendly. Rosemarie and Matthew desired to ensure their guests felt both; comfortable and loved.
The day began with some pampering by Sin City MUA while the bride and her tribe got ready at the hotel. Rosemarie was an absolute VISION once the hair & makeup was done and wedding dress slipped on.
The photographer, Samantha Jacob, and videographer, the Iris Image captured the getting ready moments and truly, the entire event perfectly. And while we can’t wait for the beautiful, edited wedding video, these pics bring back all the good memories of the day.
After all the final details were complete, a limo picked up both wedding parties and the bridesmaids headed to the park next to the venue for some glamour shots. Look at these gorgeous ladies & their bride-to-be!
Transportation arrived back at the hotel for guests while vendors were hustling and setting up the modern-boho space at A Simple Affair. This spot is one of our TOP rated spots in, “Best Elopement Locations: According to a Las Vegas Wedding Planner.” Then, once everyone arrived we prepared for the processional walk-down-the-aisle. It was a short, but sweet ceremony in front of a cream, orange, and forest green arch backdrop. How cute?!
After the ceremony concluded with a recessional, guests walked back to the park to take larger group photos. The bride and groom also had their sunset romantics, that turned out SO gorgeous!
As for the rest of the venue, after the recessional from the ceremony: we completely unveiled the reception space by pulling back the long drapes that hung down from the ceiling.
There were LOTS of pretty details including an audio guestbook from For the Record Guestbook, detailed signage, lots of candles and hanging café lights for romantic lighting.
As guests found their seats, we gathered the wedding party for a really fun grand entrance. The bridesmaids in burnt orange dresses danced out to “good as hell” by LIZZO and the groomsmen sauntered their way into the reception to “bottoms up” by Brantley Gilbert. Finally, with a loud roar of applause, the bride and groom burst into the warm, starlit room. Dancing to “finesse” by Bruno Mars as they gradually eased into their first dance.
And my personal FAVORITE part, design-wise, was the beautifully crafted cake by Caked LV. It looked like a masterpiece and everything we dreamed up for the couple. Taking two pieces of the cake from their slice, Rosemarie and Matthew shared an adorable cake-smashing in the face moment. All too adorable to watch!
After this, family & friends gave speeches and lots of dancing occurred—including a money dance, bouquet and garter toss. Guests also got to enjoy a photobooth and donut wall for dessert that was brought out later (to keep the beautiful cake, somewhat in tact).
And that’s a wrap on this modern-boho wedding at A Simple Affair in Las Vegas! Huge shoutout to all the vendors who were a part of this big day:
