Vegas is home of the quickie wedding. But all of that ‘dash into the chapel at any time of the day’ noise has evolved. Couples still want a quickie wedding. However, they want to do it on their own terms. In a modern way that reflects their love story, their super unique personalities, and their sense of style. There are plenty of chapels that you can run into, or even drive up to for that matter.
However, there are also plenty of intimate wedding venues that give you the best of both worlds. Minus the drive-thru. One Vegas wedding venue that gets a big old heart next to its name from P3 Events is Midcentury Manor. It’s practically brand new and it’s a private residence venue. In fact, the venue was previously the home of an old Vegas boss. The same Vegas boss who founded Caesars Palace and Circus Circus. How’s that for a slice of Vegas history on your wedding day?
The vibe at Midcentury Manor in Las Vegas is a little something they call the new “old” Las Vegas. It’s elegant, intimate, and posh with vintage charm & modern flair. And it also has major Palm Springs vibes. Hence the name, Midcentury Manor.
The space has a unique spin on decor. Outside of florals and linens, there is very little needed when it comes to wedding decor. Aside from the ultra vintage decor, to elope at Midcentury Manor is to have a wedding with a view of the Stratosphere. Plus, the ‘great room’ aka your wedding space, it’s fabulous friend! It features a 22-foot beamed ceiling. There’s also a stone fireplace that opens up to a vine-covered walled garden that sparkles with bistro lights.
The thing about planning to elope at Midcentury Manor in Las Vegas is that is crazy flexible. There’s no “you have to work with these wedding vendors from our list”. You can pick and choose the planner, florist, or caterer you feel best matches your unique sense of style. Like most venues, they do partner with specific wedding vendors. But again, you are free to decide! Actually, when Midcentury Manor first opened their doors, I was the first Las Vegas Elopement Planners to partner with them. They’ve held a special place in my heart ever since.
But back to your wedding real quick! The thing about this Vegas wedding venue is that you can use it to plan just your wedding ceremony. Or you can plan your ceremony and your reception. They kinda have the whole elope or plan a micro-wedding atmosphere down. So even if it’s just the two of you coming to Vegas from out of town, you can absolutely still get married there. If that’s what you’re going for, this elopement package might be best for you.
However, if what you’re going for is more of a small wedding, like with under 60 guests, then that’s a micro wedding. A micro wedding is an intimate wedding experience, that includes the wedding day elements most important to you. For some couples that’s live entertainment or an epic dinner spread. It’s totally individual. I love the idea of planning a micro wedding at Midcentury Manor in Las Vegas. Because it truly gives our couples the experience they are looking for. But in a way that is kind of unexpected.
I know most couples choose to elope or get married in Vegas because traditional wedding planning ain’t it. With a micro wedding, the planning process doesn’t have to feel like traditional wedding planning. It’s pretty much the same approach as an elopement. Pick and choose what is most important to you and leave the rest. You can still find plenty of packages to help you plan a micro wedding in Las Vegas. Packages that don’t leave you with more questions than you came in with. And packages that give you what you need but leave the rest.
