If you like witchy aesthetics, then you will love this chic elopement in the thick, farm forest
Far away… deep in the olive tree forest at Green Gale Farms in Las Vegas, a Witchy but Chic elopement took place. Don’t miss reading up on these very vibey + beautiful photos by Taylor Made Photography.
I wanted the flowers to be chic, but still have that “freshly uprooted from the garden” look. It was Bloomingbelle’s Floral is my favorite florist to collaborate with and the first vendor I met when moving to Las Vegas. In addition, something else I love is they do both rentals & gorgeous florals – making elopements even easier! They also provided the ceremony chairs.
My excitement levels for this wedding spiked when I found out @modernvintagerentals had the prettiest vintage console that went beautifully with the vibe. To elevate the look, I layered some heavy textured linens on it and topped it with custom dried floral candleholders, gold candle votives and little personal décor from home.
In the months leading up to their witchy elopement, I bought little mystical details. We scattered these all around. TIP: Always collect unique pieces of your wedding design in advance.
We filled their gold bookcase with champagne, mini apothecary bottles, and popped rock candy stirrers on top for a little more drama!
Every one of my Elopement Couples gets a “memento invite” as a part of their package. For Felicia + Josh’s witchy elopement I wanted to see something vibey & celestial, but still soft and romantic. And as you can see from these photos, @ascaniodesigns creates magic every time.
The guests arrived and grabbed hand-rolled book pages (from a spell-book of course) filled with dried lavender to throw over the couple as they walked back down the aisle.
The aisle was definitely a tight squeeze but all the more intimate and cozy. Felicia & Josh had their friend act as their Officiant (who also played the music) and performed a hand fastening ceremony before their first kiss!
Next, in the elopement timeline was Cake & Champagne. The guests walked back to the entrance as Felicia & Josh took more photos at their backdrop and were handed champagne. Then everyone was asked to gather around the cake table.
OH! The cake was a gorgeous and mystical custom creation made by Caked LV for the witchy elopement. They always knock it out of the park and bring my sketches to life! It is rare you can find a bakery that makes beautiful things and also makes those things taste as good as it looks. They do it ALWAYS!
Secondly, they also provided donuts for the guests to enjoy (an easier dessert option for guests when located in the forest). Lastly, “thank you” favors were passed out to guests at the end of the event. The gift bags contained a mystical, spell-like lavender potpourri. So cute!!
