Not every wedding needs all the “bells & whistles” to be a truly perfect day. When all you’re worried about is taking that first look into your lover’s eyes and seeing them blissfully happy, the day just can’t go wrong. You can find the beauty in the simple and sweet; and Shelbie + Kyle prove it!!
Their day was calm, and easygoing. It seemed like time slowed for these two! Shelbie enjoyed quality time with her bridesmaids in their PJ’s & popped a bottle of champagne. These ladies all had very down-to-earth vibes who just wanted to see Shelbie giddy about her big day.
The photographer (Carrie Pollard) captured these fun, relaxing moments with the girls & some stunning detail photos; such as the rings & ring box, invites (by our favorite Ascanio Designs, aka Jordan), wedding dress on custom hangar, vow book, etc.
The bride wore her beautiful crimson hair in a romantic, thick braid (thanks to Makeup in the 702), with a soft bridal glam. Then came time for the bride & groom’s FIRST LOOK! They chose a location that looked out towards the pale, dreamy Nevada mountain range. See the precious moment below:
The groom, Kyle was so happy to see Shelbie lit up with pure joy! He looked great in his light grey suit, complementing the mountain range behind him. Let me tell you, this groom was the sweetest, and just let his bride, Shelbie, shine all day!
The venue, Cactus Joe’s, had a beautiful wooden “church” building this couple chose for the backdrop of their ceremony. It was heartfelt, touching, and filled with their closest family and friends. And then they said “i do!”
Next, Shelbie & Kyle took some desert photos with the wedding party & their romantics. The colors of the bridesmaid dresses paired beautifully with BloomingBelle’s bouquets.
The weather this day was calm, with a welcome “photogenic” breeze. And guests gathered to the reception area at Cactus Joe’s while the wedding party prepared for their grand entrances.
We kicked off this part of the night with the entire wedding party and family dancing down to the guests! Then, followed by toasts to the couple. Guests enjoyed dinner was served by Pizza Stone’d catering & drinks mixed by Trixie’s Mobile Bars.
Music was pumping as dinner was served and the sky burst into an epic watercolor sunset! The couple made sure to head off with the video & photo team (head over to Andoni Garcia’s social media page for the wedding film!). Shelbie & Kyle danced as the night sky lit up in stars. Since this venue was far from the Las Vegas city, the string lights were activated to give dancers some extra light.
The bride and groom then cut the wedding cake, where Shelbie didn’t hold back giving a little cake shove in her new hubby’s face. However, he was ever the gentleman & continued to let her shine! And that’s a wrap on their simple & sweet wedding day!
