The one where the bride surprises the groom with a surprise proposal & then they get married!
The couple, Andrea and Todd, have been together for over 20 years! It was in 2012 when Todd proposed to Andrea and they got engaged, however they never got to celebrate the wedding of their dreams. The bride mentioned Todd always joked that so much time has passed that if they DID get married, Andrea would have to propose to him this time!
Years later, this silly joke became a REALITY. Andrea had a brilliant plan to surprise Todd with a proposal of her very own in a private room at one of his favorite Seattle restaurants. The bride quickly contacted us, P3 Events, around 6 weeks before the wedding day. Andrea told us she got her original engagement ring resized and planned a trip to Vegas for Christmas (but Todd had no idea what she was ACTUALLY planning).
We were inspired by this incredibly romantic gesture and couldn’t help but say yes to helping this sweet couple. With just 6 short weeks to wedding plan, we had quick turnaround time to pull everything together. And with the help of some incredible vendors, Andrea and Todd got to have the wedding of their dreams!
The couple got ready together at Midcentury Manor in non-traditional wedding attire; a bright red suit and dark, elegant gown with beading. Makeup in the 702 got the couple beautified before they headed downtown. We hit all the best photo spots: Circa, Binions, and murals with Samantha Jacob Photography.
Next, Andrea & Todd went back to the ceremony and tied the knot, performed by Berlynn of Peachy Keen Unions. The ceremony was heartfelt, and very sweet to watch. Equally, the flowers were absolutely stunning, by Pam and Brad from Bloomingbelles.
Directly after the ceremony, the couple and friends shared a delightful toast on the patio. The vibes were incredible as the sun began to set and Samantha Jacob Photography captured some candid wedding photos.
After enjoying drinks and conversation, dinner was served at Midcentury Manor. The couple received a private, custom dinner menu – each guest received their FAVORITE meal of choice! Lastly, a decadent, chocolate wedding cake was delivered by Caked LV for the wedding party. A few more cocktails were enjoyed before the group headed off to Velveteen Rabbit for their reservation to enjoy the rest of their night, post-wedding production.
Huge thanks to these vendors!:
