When you plan a Las Vegas Wedding in under two months—with a very clear vision and a guest count of 50—you don’t just plan… you pivot, manifest, and pull a full Hail Mary. That’s exactly what happened with Kolby & Johnny’s wedding, one of the most unforgettable elopement-meets-luxury celebrations Las Vegas has ever seen.
This is the story of how a Texas couple turned a nearly impossible booking into a once-in-a-lifetime wedding day—complete with Elvis, showgirls, a basketball court reception, and a surprise gender reveal.

Kolby & Johnny live in Texas, but they knew without hesitation that Vegas was where they wanted to get married. Planning began when Johnny and his mom reached out just 52 days before the wedding date—and from the very first conversation, one thing was crystal clear:
👉 The ceremony HAD to be at A Little White Wedding Chapel.
Specifically, the bride envisioned the iconic Little White Chapel vibe paired with a reception that felt unexpected, elevated, and wildly fun.
Easy enough, right?
Not exactly.
On the same weekend as: Paul McCartney’s Got Back Tour, Rise Festival (featuring Calvin Harris), Las Vegas Showdown and Art in The Park… needless to say, the couple’s preferred wedding date was completely booked. We explored every possible option—offering to buy out time blocks, reaching out to contacts, even preparing to pay thousands to make it happen. Every answer came back the same: no availability.
So we pivoted.

We created a full backup plan working with Fresh Wata using That Chapel Downtown—a modern, versatile chapel space. Quotes were secured. Renderings were designed. Everything was lined up to create a beautiful dupe of A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
And while all of that planning was happening? I was quietly stalking every personal and professional contact I had, hoping for a miracle.

Long story short?
✨ Some call it stalking, I call it perseverance and dedication. After finally connecting with the right person, at the right time—and we were able to secure the exact time we needed at A Little White Wedding Chapel for 50 guests inside their Amore Chapel.
Important note for couples planning a Las Vegas wedding:
If your guest count is over 20, the Amore Chapel is your option—no ifs, ands, or buts.
Once the location was locked, it was time to go all in.
Guests were picked up from The Palms and brought to A Little White Chapel. For the ceremony, we curated a lineup of vendors that screamed classic Vegas, elevated:

After the “I dos,” guests were whisked just around the corner for cocktail hour at a gem of the Arts District, Taverna.

The reception took place at The Palms, inside the legendary Hardwood Suite—one of the most jaw-dropping suites in Las Vegas.
Guests were escorted up to the suite and greeted by:

At center court sat an infinity-shaped reception table, surrounded by candlelight and lush florals by Mylo Fleur.

Kolby & Johnny made their grand entrance after a showgirl performance to “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, setting the tone for dinner.

Then came the twist.
After dinner, guests were crooned out of the reception space by an Adele impersonator singing “Rolling in the Deep.” Guests moved faster than expected—because the vibe was that convincing.

While guests enjoyed cocktails in the main suite, we flipped the basketball court for dancing.
Their cake cutting—performed on the second floor overlooking their guests—doubled as a gender reveal.
They cut the cake.
The lights changed.
💖 PINK.

And just like that, the party exploded into dancing, desserts, and celebration late into the night…

Oh yes… there was a tarot reader tucked away in a secret room hidden behind a bookshelf door, offering intimate, mystical readings that felt exclusive and unexpected, while a close-up magician entertained guests inside the suite’s locker room, creating moments of surprise and wonder at every turn. By activating multiple rooms with interactive experiences, the couple transformed their luxury suite reception into a multi-sensory celebration—proving that Las Vegas weddings can be both deeply personal and wildly unforgettable.

The night continued with drinks, magic, dancing & basketball!
A huge thank you to all of the vendors who helped create an unforgettable night for a lovely group of people!
