One of my favorite aspects of wedding planning is the DESIGN portion, in which I get to make mood boards just like this one below.

Khairi and Erica had been planning their wedding for one year when they decided how spectacular it would be to incorporate a subtle Harry Potter theme. When designing a wedding with a fandom theme like Harry Potter, it’s super important that you don’t GO OVER THE TOP. Save the cheesiness for dad jokes not your event design!

Through detailed planning with the couple, and pulling together my best vendor recommendation list (no magical spells needed), we made this mico-mony come to life. See below for Harry Potter wedding GLAM:

Although invitations were not sent via owl post, guests for Khairi and Erica’s wedding were formally invited by stunning custom invitations by Ascanio Designs.

The owner, Jordan Ascanio, did an INCREDIBLE job with subtle, chic Harry Potter signage made for this whimsical chic wedding. She always knows how to incorporate a theme into her designs that matches her couples’ vibes.

Guests were whisked into a serene ceremony under the Cactus Joes trees to watch the couple tie the knot, performed by Peachy Keen Unions.

And once the formal part of the day was complete, the couple & their guests headed to Nora’s Cusine where a magical, Hogwarts Great Hall styled reception awaited.

My FAVORITE part of this wedding was the attention to details on the candy & desserts table. I felt this was exactly what a real life Honeydukes (a candy shop from Harry Potter) in Hogsmeade would be like. The vendor for this was none other than CAKED Las Vegas. And there were even handmade chocolate frogs & authentic butterbeer (a Leaky Cauldron special).

And at the end of the day, these newlyweds got to celebrate a wedding that incorporated their favorite fandom, favorite people, and forever person.
